Hello!
My name is Melissa. I am in GVSU's College Of Education, studying Biology and Chemistry Secondary Education. I plan to work on an endorsement that allows me to teach any science once I get my teaching certificate.
I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, hiking, rock climbing, and horseback riding. I have two older brothers, named Jeff and Ryan. I have 3 cats, and 2 horses. I love science, and have helped out on 2-3 aquatic studies.
I am currently collecting nerdy jewelry for my "teaching jewelry" collection. I would like to be Ms. Frizzle-esque.
I would say I have a small amount of experience using technology in the classroom. I have a working knowledge of prezi, and powerpoint. I have utilized Moodle to make online quizzes and tests. I have used Wheel Decide, and Socrative in my classroom in the past. My CT had a smart board so I have learned how to use those as well.
